Nie przekazuje jedynie okre\u015blonej wiedzy, rozumianej jako \u2018podstawa programowa\u2019. TOK zadaje pytanie o natur\u0119 wiedzy i o to, w jaki spos\u00f3b wiemy to, co uwa\u017camy, \u017ce wiemy. Pochyla si\u0119 nad problematyk\u0105, jak zdobywamy, tworzymy i przekazujemy wiedz\u0119 i na ile jest ona pewna. Jest to przedmiot interdyscyplinarny, maj\u0105cy na celu nauk\u0119 podstaw epistemologii (wiedza, umiej\u0119tno\u015b\u0107, zrozumienie) i krytycznego my\u015blenia.<\/p>\n<p>Teoria wiedzy stanowi wa\u017cny element edukacji IB. Pytania zwi\u0105zane z TOK znajduj\u0105 si\u0119 w tre\u015bciach wszystkich przedmiot\u00f3w. TOK zach\u0119ca uczni\u00f3w do krytycznego my\u015blenia, lepszego poznania z\u0142o\u017cono\u015bci wiedzy i odpowiedzialnego dzia\u0142ania w otaczaj\u0105cym ich \u015bwiecie. TOK \u0142\u0105czy r\u00f3\u017cne dziedziny nauki i pokazuje, jak ucze\u0144 mo\u017ce zastosowa\u0107 swoj\u0105 wiedz\u0119 \u015bwiadomie i wiarygodnie.<\/p>\n<p>W celu uzyskania oceny ko\u0144cowej z przedmiotu TOK ucze\u0144 przygotowuje na zako\u0144czenie pierwszego roku nauki tzw. wystaw\u0119 (ang. exhibition), w kt\u00f3rej za pomoc\u0105 trzech wybranych obiekt\u00f3w musi pokaza\u0107, jak TOK jest manifestowany w otaczaj\u0105cym nas \u015bwiecie. It does not impart specific knowledge in the sense of the traditional \u2018core curriculum\u2019. It consists mainly of questions that question various aspects of existence, including aspects that we do not think about and take for granted. TOK asks questions about the nature of knowledge and how we know what we think we know. It is an interdisciplinary subject, aiming to teach the foundations of epistemology (knowledge, skills, understanding) and critical thinking. The theory of knowledge is an important part of IB programme. Questions related to TOK are included in the content of all subjects. TOK encourages students to think critically, become aware of the complexity of knowledge and act responsibly in the world around them.
